Thank You Card Using Florist Gift Wrapping
I made this card with the paper I received around my flowers when I was sick. I sent it to the people who sent me the flowers.
The wording was cut on a Sizzix and the flowers on a hand punch, they are 3 layers deep and held with a brad.

Margaret, what a fantastic story behind this card! This is just the kind of thing I like to see...creative card making with waste recycling AND sentiment in the materials used!
All that wrapping paper we just screw up and throw away at birthday and Christmas time...my mother was a devil for folding it neatly and keeping it 'to use again', but she wasn't a cardmaker.
Just think of how many different designs you could get out of just one piece of waste gift wrap.
Not only could you use it to punch out shapes and embellishments like Margaret has done, you could also use it for decoupage (isn't that how decoupage started...people re-using waste materials because money was tight???).
Great idea for card making with the kids too - mmm I'm feeling a page coming on
Thank you Margaret, keep them coming!
