Derek retired from his job as a graphic designer nearly 10 years ago, but when his wife started making greeting cards she asked him if he could create some tea bag tiles for her. Derek says that 'somehow' he got addicted to making them and in the end he had created so many that he decided to put up a web site to share them on the internet with other cardmakers. After many requests, he created a further 300 unique new tiles and created a CD collection. Derek's TeaBag Tiles CD is proving very popular.
Derek's first site, with the free printable teabag tiles can be found here - you are allowed to sell the cards you make for charity but obviously no personal commercial use is allowed. Change the Colour of Your Card Making PapersYou can download some free software from Google called 'Picasa' - this will let you change the colours of any teabag folding tiles or background papers to anything you choose - watch this video to see how easy it is (there is a download link beneath the video screen on that page).VIDEO: Changing the Colour of Teabag Folding Tiles |
