QuickutzApart from being a handy little die cutting machine - hand held and portable! - the two things that really catch my eye are the 'Icing Rub Ons' and the 'Goosebumps' embossing dies. The Icing RubOns are designed to fit the shape dies and look very neat - the paler coloured ones are especially good for dark card so they will work a treat with male cards. The Goosebumps embossing dies are used to add texture and patterns to already cut letters and shapes. I see card making with die cuts as 'clean', and by that I mean its not difficult to get some really good, professional looking designs which are bright and cheery. Personally though, the thing I like most about Quickutz is being able to decorate the shapes with the co-ordinated Icing Rub Ons! There is an Icing RubOns Starter Kit where you get an exclusive die that cuts a circle, small tag, flower, heart and candle. There are 4 sheets of rubons to fit the shapes and they have given the colours the most lovely sounding names: licorice, vanilla, cherry & chocolate!
