Pyramid Card - Lady in Pink

Pyramid Card - Lady in Pink

First attempt at Pyramage.

Card Making Materials Used

- I used designs from a craft CD (can't remember which one!)

- Gold peel offs; borders for edging the card and papered sections, and 'With Love' for your greeting.

- Pink gingham paper (it was a free download - such a useful design, especially for baby girl cards, too!)

Pyramage is a card making technique from the 3D decoupage family - instead of cutting around multiple images and layering them on top of each other, you just layer up squares, circles, rectangles etc. which are progressively smaller in size with each layer.

Pyramid cards can also be done as an 'inverse pyramid', where the image doesn't build up but goes 'down' as if you are looking into the picture.

Try it out - pyramage decoupage sheets and CDs.

...or don't forget to check out the free craft library for printable background papers and images suitable for pyramage/decoupage cards.
