Handbag Greeting Card

Inspired by an idea in "Do crafts" using A4 card,shaped to make the handbag then covered in various backing papers and a strip of ribbon.

It has a valley fold 1 cm either side of a hill fold so that it stands up.

The handle is made from beads on wire.

The clasp is 2 foam hearts attached with a brad. It fastens with stick velcro.

Inside is a mini pocket (just like a real handbag) with a card for the message.

The recipient loved this and I have made several since, all different and using various different
things for the clasp.
