This short video shows you how to easily change horrible colours into nice ones using the FREE Picasa software from Google.

How to Do It in Picasa...
To re-colour background papers for co-ordinated card making, follow these steps:
Double click a paper/image so it opens up large
There will be 3 tabs to your left saying Basic Fixes - Tuning - Effects
Choose 'effects'
From the options shown choose 'Tint'
...Play :-)
You will be amazed at the difference this little unknown/unused effect makes on your digital background papers - suddenly you can colour co-ordinate to suit existing embellishments or photos, or even create a whole new set of papers just for the fun of it! Sometimes patterned papers look plain yucky, but you can transform them into your own little beauties with a few mouse clicks.
Try it out, you can always uninstall the software if you don't like it :)
