Birthday Wishes Card

This birthday card was my own idea.

Card Making Supplies Used

- Vellum
- Stamp: birthday wishes
- 3 different sized flowers
- 4 brads
- White cardboard
- Hot pink bazill cardstock.

It looks like Stella has mounted the vellum onto the pink cardstock with the brads, and then layered the different sizes of flowers to give a textured 3D effect.

Simple wording nicely finishes off this pretty card.

Card Making Tips:

Never throw anything away...you could easily make good use of small waste scraps of vellum and cardstock for cards like this.

Even if your scraps are tiny, simply group them in smaller squares together in a formation of 3 or 5, for example.

Attach small, colour-co-ordinated embellishments, rub-ons or even lettering to finish off the mini matted layers.

Small scraps of vellum are great for adding tiny embossed designs or mini-parchment patterns onto - especially if you have never got time to set about a regular sized parchment card. Using vellum scraps in this way is a nice, gentle introduction to the world of parchment craft!
